Different markets have different visions and requirements towards metering systems. Developing the 7th version we have taken into consideration the needs of our actual and potential customers and also the evolutional trends of the smart metering products. The new version contains several model ranges having different levels of functionality and price.

The new meters have improved functionality compared to previous versions as well as new features:

Measurements

   Maximum current up to 100A;
   Active and reactive power accuracy class 1 for three phase and single phase meters;
   Export/import power measurements in 4 quadrants;
   Power quality, including instantaneous values of phase voltages, currents and frequency, power factor,  phase angles, sags and swells, outage detection, and duration;
   Load profiling of up to eight values at adjustable intervals (15’, 30’, 60’ etc).

Communications and interfaces

   CENELEC A-band LV/MV PLC communications (based on S-FSK, OFDM techniques) with automatic repetition function (up to 7 levels); 
   Interoperability, compliance to DLMS/COSEM standard protocol stack;
   Additional interchangeable modules under terminal box cover, providing:

   Upstream GPRS/GSM channel to the Master Station;
   Standard wired/wireless M-bus providing the integration of water,  heating or gas meters within the system and Customer Interface Unit support;
   Other interfaces can be implemented on demand.

Anti-fraud detection

   Two measuring channels in the phase and neutral wires;
   Differential current alarm;
   Sensors for meter and terminal box covers unauthorized opening;
   Magnetic field sensor;
   Real time alarming to warn the Master station;
   Event log with circular memory buffer with storage capacity up to 200 events.

Consumption management

   Demand Side Management, including:

   consumers disconnection controlled remotely in online broadcast mode;
   scheduled control of secondary load contactor by means of additional 5A relay;
   separate Load Control Unit with two 25A relays for the control of secondary loads;
   remote configuration of power limits enabling automatic disconnection on exceeded threshold;
   Max Demand calculation.

   Flexible tariff policy, supporting:


   Time-Of-Use metering (6 tariffs, 12 seasons, 30 special days, 8 changeovers per day with 30min increment, etc);
   Slab tariff meaning tariffication based on the total energy used.

   STS compliant prepayment solution, providing:


   remote or on-site switching between credit and prepayment modes (configurable);
   possibility to recharge the credit remotely or locally (using keypad);
   configurable emergency credit and audible low credit alarm;
   support of energy or money units;
   safety button to prevent unexpected reconnections;
   Customer Interface Unit with keypad support.

And others...

   Long-life backup Battery (20 years life time) / Super Capacitor  (72 hours);
   Various meter case designs adjustable to the installation place;
   Backlit OBIS coded LCD.

The new lines of meters have been certified for MID compliance by Slovakian Metrological Institute.
